A friend recently sent us the trailer for the documentary SOMM, a film that follows four sommeliers in their journey to pass the prestigious Master Sommelier exam. Check out the trailer above for an insight into the world of those who live and breathe wine. We'd love to see the full film - it looks both informative and suspenseful. Anyone else nervous for these guys by the end of the trailer?!
For more information on SOMM you can visit the documentary's website here.

Me!! Now I want to see the full film too! I don't think anyone realizes what an art this is and how much skill and time is involved...wow!

Comment by Letícia Mello on January 29, 2012 at 7:58pm I loved the hint of the film, seems to be very good, and as a student of enology, and in the future probably a sommelier, will not miss seeing the movie!
Wow, and I thought my son was obsessed with gaming with his XBox 360, perhaps even addicted. This short clip made that look like child's play. I like wine too, but have other interests as well (a little more rounded). Wow, I bet the entire film is seriously intense. I would like to see it though, just to see how intense is "intense". Looked like tasty grapes. Thanks for sharing.
